The High Sheriff’s chaplain supports and upholds the High Sheriff in fulfilling their role. They are drawn from faith and belief organisations of all kinds and can include individuals and communities who have no religious or denominational faith.

Pippa’s Chaplain for 2025 is The Revd Jonny Rapson.

Jonny is the rector for St. Mary’s, Old Amersham and All Saints’, Coleshill where he has served for three years. Since his time in the parish, he has enabled the development of a core vision for the two churches, focusing on community, welcome and worship. With support from many in the parish, the two churches have an increasing number of community outreach events to provide safe spaces in our communities.

Jonny is married to his wife Jenna and they have a one year old daughter, Naomi. They are especially looking forward to the arrival of baby number two in August.
